NEW AND IMPROVED HANDY ANDY LOOK AND FORMULA

Unilever has recently launched the redesigned look and formulation of the much loved Handy Andy creams. The renovation of the Handy Andy cream features a new modern look, improved product formulation and an innovative packaging solution in keeping with Unilever’s Clean Future strategy. The Clean Future strategy details how Unilever intends to incorporate sustainability-oriented ideas into its product formulations and packaging to decrease its carbon footprint.

Consumers now get to enjoy a 100% recyclable Handy Andy cream bottle that is partly made from recycled materials, while the cream itself has an improved formula consisting of 100% natural cleaning particles and a 100% biodegradable fragrance. While gentle for the environment, the new and improved Handy Andy cream remains tough on stubborn dirt and grease, leaving shiny clean surfaces with no harmful residue. You can clean the grease and grime off your kitchen counter with an easier to rinse formulation that allows you to simply wipe off the dirt and enjoy hygienically clean and beautiful surfaces.

Says Ammarah Chand, Brand Manager of Hard Surface Cleaners at Unilever South Africa, “South Africans are looking for an effective cleaner we can trust to be safe for us, our families and our environment and something we can use to clean everything when times are tough. Our much loved Handy Andy creams range has been reformulated and does exactly that! It can still be used across multiple surfaces, is now even tougher on grease and grime than before, leaves no harsh residues behind, and is much easier to rinse!”

Not only does the well-loved Handy Andy cream come in a new and improved formulation and look, but it now comes in an uplifting Eucalyptus fragrance as well. This new variant comes in 500ml, 750ml and 5L. “As a brand, we are also ensuring we take care of the environment at the heart of our products. This cream range contains 100% natural cleaning particles, and the bottle is made from recycled material and is 100% recyclable. In addition to all of this, we also have a new variant joining the Handy Andy creams family. We’re quite excited about the new Eucalyptus fragrance for a sensorial cleaning experience,” says Brand Manager of Hard Surface Cleaners at Unilever South Africa.

The Handy Andy cream is available at all major leading supermarkets across the country.
