WHY I LOVE MUSLIMS

With recent events such as President Donald J. Trump's "muslim ban" there have been lots of negativity from the western world towards followers of Islam. Our generation prides itself on being all about radiating them good vibes, so I thought I would share with you some of my favourite things about the Muslim (Particularly Arab) culture.

The Food

Arab cuisine could quite possibly be one of the healthiest diets I've come across. From couscous to labneh to hummus, it seriously makes me lose a couple kilos just thinking about it! If I could live on nothing but karak tea I would. Trust me if you don't have a muslim friend to have iftar with, you're seriously missing out.  Arab food is the bomb! (*clears throat*)

The Language

Yalla Habibti, yalla! Anyone who's heard someone speak Arabic can vouch that it is quite an expressive language. With its deep throaty sounds and tongue twisting motions, it is truly unique in its own right. Since the 9/11 attacks it is also a language that has caused much controversy. Inshallah one day the world will learn to appreciate it.

Beauty

Muslim people are definitely blessed in the aesthetics department mashallah, but I'm particularly referring to beauty bloggers and youtubers. What do Huda BeautyHabiba Da Silva and Sheikh Beauty have in common? They're all my favourite bloggers and they're all Muslim! If you don't have a goto Hijabi blogger then who are you even? If you want to learn how to do the perfect contour or smokey eye then look no further than any Muslimah on instagram.

And finally what would I say the best thing of all about Muslim people is? If you forget a muslim guys name there's a 99% chance it's Mohammed!

  3. Thank you so much dear for the love and respect you have for the muslims. I am sure you have few good friends who are muslims. After a long time saw a good review about muslims finally otherwise people are usually talking rubbish on other religions.
